In conclusion, the issue of discrimination against minority students in schools is a pervasive and deeply concerning problem that affects individuals and communities across the country. Teachers may discriminate against minority students due to unconscious bias, lack of cultural competency, and the lack of diversity in the teaching profession. The Black Student Advocate Network is working to combat this issue by creating safe and inclusive spaces for Black students and educating teachers and school administrators about the unique challenges that Black students face. To create a more inclusive and welcoming education system, it is crucial to address the root causes of discrimination against minority students and develop policies and practices that support the success of all students, regardless of their background.
